What is this?
The role of Project Support takes care of administration on a project and includes specific responsibility for configuration management. These are important responsibilities that need to be taken care of on every project.
The Project Support role can be fulfilled by an individual, a specialist team (such as a project office), or if there is no-one else available the Project Manager will have to do it. However, as there can only ever be one Project Manager on a project, if the project gets beyond a certain size then this role will need to be delegated.
